Mike Money and the Cous’….FLAT OUT, best radio show in our listening area, period. (and yes, I am including 660 in the “listening area” since many of us can get it. If you are not listening to Mike Missenelli and Anthony Gargano, (AM 610 M-F 10:00 – 3:00) you are missing the best tandem 610 has thrown together in a long time. Maybe ever? Two philly guys, with just the right attitude. They never press and make issues out of nothing just for the sake of radio, or take opposite sides of issues, just to balance the talk. They seem to go on, and just be themselves. Not afraid to be fans, and not afraid to be critical, but never just for the sake of radio. And NEVER, never, A-holes, just for the sake of being A-holes. (HEAR 3-7 M-F). Sure they may throw a condescending “C’mon Cous’” to a caller now and then, but not til the caller has earned it. And if the Sports of the day aren’t worth talking about, they are not limited. They talk life, do “Little Andy,” “Ask the Cous,” or throw you a “Field of 64.” They are basically two guys having fun, and it’s hard for the listeners not to have it with them….

Sixers Executive Vice President Dave Coskey

Most of you have probably never heard of him, and of those of you that have probably aren’t giving him the credit you should. He simply is THE marketing guru of the 76ers. He marketed a franchise that was dead in the water not only back on the map, but back to the top. And talk about the Midas touch, he was able to keep the Sixers a hot commodity through all the trials and tribulations of A.I., roster moves (good, bad, and different), stripper incidents, etc. Coskey seems to take it all in stride, and keep that team a popular fan favorite, in spite of scandal that would leave other teams dead in the water, (or the ice, or the turf). When you see little kids in afluent suburbs wearing Sixer gear, that’s because of Coskey as much as it is because of A.I., if not more. He just takes all the off court crap, a decade or so of mediocrity and still somehow weaves marketing gold for the club. First give away game…Sixers Poom-Poom pants? Don’t put it past him!!
