Flyers are now 9-1-2.

Coming off a game in which they completely outclassed the Capitals, the Flyers had a much tougher time last night earning two points. The two teams battled until LeClair jammed a loose puck into a vacated net less than 2 minutes into overtime. It was as physical a game as they’ve been involved in this season with both teams ringing up a number of big hits. Despite the physical nature of the game, I’m very sad to report that, once again, there were no fights although Brashear and former Flyer farmhand Jesse “I gave Lindros his 17th concussion” Boulerice stared angrily at each other a few times. Of note was a strong game played by Justin Williams tallying the game’s first goal and assisting on the game winner. Former Flyer Roddy BrindAmour scored for the ‘Canes. Overall a well played contest with the desired result..
